Bob Dahlin recently moved back to Chicago with his
family after 25 years in L.A. working as an assistant
director on over 100 feature films and TV movies.
He has worked with directors such as Robert Altman,
Jonathan Demme, Norman Jewison, Richard Lester,
Tony Richardson, Sidney Poitier, Alan Arkin, and
others on films like "
Popeye", "A Wedding", "Free
Willy III
", "And Justice For All", "Butch and
Sundance: The Early Years
", "Omen II", "Harry and
Tonto
", "The Hunter", and many more. He continues
to work on one or two films a year.
As a director, he directed the feature film, "Monster In The Closet" starring Stella
Stevens, Claude Akins, Henry Gibson, Howard Duff, and John Carradine.  He also has
directed several music videos, as well as winning the first Academy Award ever given
for a student film -- "
Suspension", a 30 minute short spoofing Alfred Hitchcock films.
He received a Master's Degree in Film from Northwestern University. "
